Fun Shows

The IaAHA often sponsors non-rated Arabian Fun Shows that offer classes for "Any Breed" of horse; however, the emphasis is on the Arabian and Half Arabian horses. There are 'no show clothes' required and many exhibitors welcome the opportunity to bring their young, and inexperienced horses to the show for a day of laid back fun and relaxation. We also draw many first time exhibitors and those that don't care to accumulate points for the Regional or National shows. These types of shows do; however, count in the IaAHA's High Point Program in the 'non-rated' division. We offer halter classes, western, hunter, and English performance classes, Arabian Native Costume, Driving, Games, and much much more. It's just a fun day all around for all involved.

2009 Mason City Fun Show Pictures Below

The IaAHA hosted the Mason City Arabian Fun Show at the Mason City Fairgrounds on July 5th. We hosted 80 horses including Arabians and Half Arabians ... a few Friesians, a Draft horse, some Welsh ponies, lots of Quarter Horses and Paint Horses, and a few Morgans. The weather was beautiful once again and everyone enjoyed a nice sunny day to spend with their horses.
