2009 IaAHA Cattle Congress Fun Show

Last weekend we had 46 horses at the Waterloo Cattle Congress Fairgrounds. Once again, all breeds came to enjoy the fun and casual atmosphere. We had Beau, the Percheron, several Clydesdales, Welsh ponies, Quarter Horses, Morgans, and much more. Of course many beautiful Arabians and Half Arabians were there in force as well. . 2009 IaAHA Spring Show Pictures Now Loaded!

The 2009 IaAHA Spring Show was a great success!! The show drew in 99 horses and classes were very tough. This is the first year the show was held in Cedar Rapids and the first time the Association has ever hosted a double judged show. Everyone seemed to enjoy having everything under one roof. There were many happy competitors and all had a memorable time!!

Some of the highlights of our 1/25/09 meeting include ..... Horse Fair is coming up April 3-5 .....Spring Show will be in Cedar Rapids on April 18 & 19 and will be a DOUBLE judged show ... Memorial Day Show will be in Des Moines on May 23-25 .... Cattle Congress Fun Show date has been set for June 14th .... Mason City Fun Show is on July 5th ..... Gold Star is Sept 3-5 ... and Fall Classic will be 6-7 ....Spooktacular has been moved to Nov 8 .... Christmas Party will be in Grundy Center on Dec 6th. Next board meeting will be on April 5 (last day of Horse Fair) in Des Moines at the Marriott Downtown Hotel.
